Why I decided to start a diet
1. I want to be healthier
2. I want to lose fat (not necessarily weight...FAT)
3. It's a pathophysiology assignment
Why I chose the ketogenic diet
1. It's freaking easy because I can eat bacon. (and lots of other delicious foods that don't make me feel like I'm dieting)
2. It is the only diet I have ever tried that has left me pretty much NEVER HUNGRY, and NEVER CRAVING CARBS. That's what happens when you eat lots of fat
3. Fat burning potential and success rate is higher than any other diet I've heard of
4. The science behind it totally makes sense to me
5. The keto diet controls blood sugar and minimizes insulin which basically translates into BETTER HEALTH. Insulin resistance is one of the biggest precursors to many diseases, including diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart disease, CANCER, etc.
